Paper wasp nest, oil paint, resin on panel.  This is a 3-dimensional painting, and the insides of the jellyfish are made with real wasp nests and painted bees.  

Jellyfish populations are on the rise due to rising ocean temperatures and acidification. Conversely, bees are on the decline due to pollution, pesticides, and parasites.
